A lyric video I directed, animated, and produced for Zoe Ko and her label Big Loud Rock. 

Zoe wanted an edgy, bold, reminiscent-of-New-York sort of feel for this song about intercourse in a car. We opted for maximalism and heavily textured elements to capture that grunginess.

We decided that we'd create a narrative flow for this video, rather than just having text over simple images. Here's a quick breakdown of that:

Verses: Black concrete, writing on a cluttered wall

Chorus: More breathing room, red-hot intercourse in a car, action lines coming out of call-and-response lyrics

After Chorus: The 'orgasm' scene. Red and black fade away into white, with pink accents framing the text. Much more cutesie and open.
